The african youth forum on peace 2 (AYFP 2) is the continuation of the first forum (AYFP 1) that took part in Morocco at Mohammedia city from October 4th to october 7th 2019.
This wonderful success just increased more hard work to the foundation to pursue one of its main missions which is to feed discussions on peace topics and security in our continent as a sink for sustainable development.
It is in this way that AYFP 2 which was supposed to be hosted from october 30th to november 1st 2020 in Morocco specifically in Mohammedia-Morocco , has been reported for october 30th to november 1st 2021 because of the covid19 pandemic around the world.
For this second edition, the topic is ‘’peace, governance and sustainable development in Africa : what involvement of youth ? ‘’ this choice is not harmless ! It is just an abstract of recommandations done by the youth of different delegations at the end of the first edition. It is for this reason we literally decided to join Peace to Governance and Sustainable Development in Africa.
This forum will definitely treat three questions mentioned before as a benefit of african youth in the development of Africa. We all know that Africa is lagging so far behind in development which benefits special interest. We are in this goal to be unified in all aspects of development, in the way to make easy economics exchanges, improve political, diplomatic and cultural relations taking on interest the specificity of each country for a common development.
By knowing that we as young people, are the continent’s wealth. We have to respect our commitments coming from the pact and by that, we can transform and improve our current economic situation which can permit us to create a good environment for a sustainable peace.
This forum is a 100 % space for young leaders of all over the world and of the diaspora to express themselves about subjects of their own future.
For the perpetuation of this forum, the monitoring and the work orientation, a permanent space has been set on :
We talk about the youth laboratory for sustainable peace in Africa (LAJPADA). This one is composed by young leaders coming from five (05) regions of AFrica for about three (03) years of work in order to evaluate the results and write an academic report on peace in collaboration with different coordinates in different countries. At the end of the first edition, gender equality was our main priority.
The meet women’s is going to play a great role in coordinating the young african girl assembly for pleading and for calling for the effective young girl schooling in this second edition. Without forgetting the ‘’MEET AFRICA BUILDERS TOMORROW’’ which will unify young startupers of different sectors.
